Elizabeth M. Whitelock

Bettie (Elizabeth M. Schilling) Whitelock passed away peacefully on the morning of December 19, 2021 at Saint Martha’s Villa, Downingtown. She had turned 99 this past summer. She was with her husband, Harry (passed in February of 2020) for 67 blessed years of marriage.

Bettie worked in the railroad industry in Philadelphia for more than 30 years. She was a career woman in the days when they were somewhat rare. Bettie loved having a career and lots of friends. Always a woman with a plan, she and Harry raised a family of 5.

Betty is survived by her children, Gregory, Mark (Carol), Brian (Anna), Deborah (Allan), Barry (Kimber); grandchildren Laura, Darren (Julie), Breanna, Josh (Julie), Cameron, Cole, Brooke, Tina; 3 great grandchildren.

Bettie’s grandchild, Eric M Whitelock passed away in 2013.

There will be no mass or visitation. Burial is to be at Calvary Cemetery in Conshohocken on a date yet to be determined.
