Elizabeth “Liz” (McClure) Cetroni, age 60, went home to be with the Lord on Monday October 9, 2017 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  She was born in West Chester, Pa., daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn(Ray) McClure.  Liz worked at Wegman’s for years and especially loved her job as a flower department manager. She took utmost pride in her work. Liz also enjoyed working at Advanced Auto Parts in Frazer. Prior to that, Liz was a learning support aide in the Downingtown School District.  

Liz, a long-time member of Hopewell United Methodist Church, served as a volunteer leader in Youth Ministries during the years her sons were involved.  She was beloved by the young people with whom she worked.  Liz was a Den Leader for Hopewell Cub Pack 8, as well as a Scout leader for Hopewell’s Troop 8 for many years and was regarded as a pioneer for other women in Boy Scouting.  Liz was inducted into the Order of the Arrow, Boy Scout National Honor Society.     

It can be said of Liz Cetroni that she loved deeply.  She always spoke of her sons, Bryan and Doug, with great pride, rejoicing in their victories all along the way.  One of her greatest joys in their young childhood was to watch them playing on the large wooden ark out in the yard!  

It was her continual longing and desire to ‘start fresh’, even in the midst of her life-challenges.  Liz is now with her Lord, free from the struggles that bound her in this earthly life.  Peace is now yours, dear Liz.    

Elizabeth Cetroni is survived by her two sons, Bryan(fiancé Sarah) and Doug(Stephanie Talucci), sister, Emily Harper(John), former husband Kevin Cetroni, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and extended family(and granddog, Oliver). She was predeceased by her brother James Pelzar.

Relatives and friends are invited to Liz’s funeral services on, Sunday, October 22, 2017, at the Hopewell United Methodist Church, 852 Hopewell Rd, Downingtown, PA 19335, visitation will be from 2PM-3PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 3PM. Interment will remain private.
