Eleanor Virginia Talucci Toto passed away Sunday to be with the Lord on January 3, 2021 at the age of 87. Born August 29, 1933 to Domenic Talucci and Theresa Cataldi in Downingtown, Eleanor passed as the Matriarch of her family.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Downingtown and Corpus Christi in Lansdale. She was devoted to praying the Rosary to our Blessed Mother Daily. Eleanor was also dedicated to her family, as well as anyone that needed her help.

After graduating from St. Agnes in West Chester she continued to work as a secretary before marrying her husband of 34 blessed years, Victor Toto who she survived after his death in 1992. Eleanor was a devoted wife, mother and friend, she continued work as a stay at home mom and eventually worked at the school cafeteria – so that she could stay close to her children during their school day. Later, she would continue to cook for the nuns at St. Joseph Parish.   

As many of her friends and family would know; Eleanor enjoyed cooking and baking and shared many famous cookie trays for lots of weddings. She totally enjoyed her crossword books, word searches, puzzles and her Hallmark Channel.

For 3 years, she resided at Parkhouse but ended up back home, thankfully, with her loving family for her last 6 months.

Eleanor is survived by her daughters; Theresa (Toto) Mason, Donna Gore (Greg), Karen Ciaccio (Michael), Lucy Moore (Chris); 9 grandchildren, Ashley, Michelle, Michael, Jenna, Alexandria, Victoria, Erica, Katheryn and Kara; 6 Great grandchildren, Maddison, Madelyn, Christian, Julianna, Matthew, Leah and another on the way; sisters, Amelia D’Gunto and Josephine D’Gunto.

In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanor is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy (Talucci) Fults and brother Samuel Talucci.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Saint Joseph Church 11:00am 338 Manor Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335. A viewing will be held from 9:30am – 10:45am at the church. All guests must wear a facemask and observe social distancing guidelines.

Guests are encouraged to keep all condolences verbal to abide social distancing. Burial will be private.

The family wishes their sincere gratitude to the Bayada Hospice Nurses and ask that any contributions in Eleanor’s honor be made to Bayada Hospice Services.
