Eleanor “Elli” (Cunningham) Pavlik, age 78, of Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, at Hickory House, Honey Brook. Born on February 24, 1944 in West Chester, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Ellis P. and Anna (Glauner) Cunningham.
Elli graduated from West Chester (Henderson) High School with the class of 1962. She lived in Honey Brook for over 45 years and worked as an accountant for various Chester County businesses, before retiring in 2009. Elli was an enthusiastic camper for all her life, enjoying the company of friends and family as she traveled around the country. She was a master crocheter, always working on blankets and gifts for others. Elli had a passion for elephants, collecting them everywhere she went.
Elli’s love for family was the driving force in her life. She never missed a family member’s birthday or anniversary. For years, she organized a family reunion for the extended Cunningham and Pierce family, including a 100th anniversary reunion for 125 people in 2016.
Elli is survived by her loving husband and best friend of over 50 years, James Pavlik, and her beloved Lhasa Apso, Snuggles; sisters Ronnie Taylor, Joan (James) Aberts, Patti-Jo (James) Ketterman, Lorna (Edward) Dzialo, and Lynne (Thomas) Tatum; and brothers John Cunningham and Glenn (Susan) Cunningham; and numerous nieces and nephews (all adorable and above average).
She was predeceased by her parents and beloved sister, Faye (Shari May) Webb.
A private family service will be held for Elli. Memorial donations may be given in her memory to the animal rescue organization of your choice.
