Eleanor M. DeMarco, 76, of West Chester,  passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
 
She was the beloved wife of Joseph J. DeMarco, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.
 
Born in New York , New York, Eleanor was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (nee Predebon) Gallo.
 
She was a graduate of John Bartram High School in Southwest Philadelphia.
 
Before her retirement in 2005, Eleanor worked for 26 years at Roy F. Weston, Inc. as a Purchasing and Telephone Communications Manager.
 
She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Coatesville  and a member of the Downingtown Business and Professional Group.
 
Eleanor’s passion was cooking for her family and friends, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
 
In addition to her husband, Mrs. DeMarco is survived by her daughters, Lisa J. Allison (Glenn R.) and Michele L. DeMarco; sisters, Barbara Zanin (Ray), Carole Gallo, and Paula Gambrill (Paul); and grandchildren, Bryon L. and Johnathan P. Allison, Lauren and Christopher Slater, and Giulianna DeMarco.
 
She was also pre-deceased by her son, Joseph P. DeMarco.
 
An evening visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, May 25th at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown.
 
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, May 26th at Our Lady of the Rosary Church,  80 S 17th Ave., Coatesville.
 
Interment will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
