Eileen Fedison, 73, of Glenmoore, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Penn Medicine Hospice with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Dennis P. Fedison, with whom she shared 13 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Teresa Somers Fitzpatrick. She was predeceased by her brother, Dr. Brian Fitzpatrick.
Eileen spent many years of her life in Delaware County before moving to Chester County to raise her family. She enjoyed gardening, listening to music, reading, cheering for the Villanova Wildcats men’s basketball team, and spending time with her close friends and neighbors. Eileen found such joy in traveling cross country to visit national parks and see other historical sites. Whenever possible, Eileen would head to her second home in Avon-by-the-Sea, NJ where she loved to take long strolls on the boardwalk, collect shells from the sand, and relax under an umbrella with a good book. Above all, Eileen cherished every single moment spent with family. She was especially devoted to her grandchildren, and treasured her role as their one and only “Mimi”.
In addition to her husband, Eileen is survived by her brother, Kevin Fitzpatrick of Las Cruces, NM; her children, Derek Brogan (Hillary) of West Chester, PA, and Danielle Hartz (Christopher) of Wall, NJ; and her five grandchildren including Ellie, Nicole, and Gavin Hartz and Jake and Max Brogan.
