Douglas K. " Doug " Darrow

Douglas Kenneth Darrow, 60, of Exton, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Rosanne Salvo Darrow, with whom he shared 14 years of marriage. In addition to his wife, Doug is survived by his daughter Laura Darrow and his sister Debbie Darrow.

Doug was born in Auburn, NY and was the son of the late Virginia and Raymond Darrow. He grew up outside of Syracuse until he went into the Navy as a Russian Linguist. In addition, he earned a B.S. degree at State University of New York – Oswego.

For the past 20 years Doug worked for Siemens Medical Solutions, USA in Malvern, PA. He was the Vice President of Molecular Imaging. Doug treasured the relationships and friendships he cultivated over the years with colleagues and customers. He was passionate about the products he sold and the impact they had on patients’ lives.

Doug enjoyed spending time with family and friends, golfing, cooking, reading and relaxing by his pool with a cocktail in his hand.

Doug will always be thought of as Simply the Best – husband, father, and friend. His sense of humor, wit, and charm put a smile on everyone’s face. He loved to make people laugh.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Tuesday March 5, 2019 at 11 AM from the James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown where friends may visit from 9:15 to 10:45
