Dorothy May Chipman, 88, of Honey Brook, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Hickory House Nursing Home in Honey Brook, Pa. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Chipman, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2009.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Andrew A. and Dorothy May Schall DeGiacomo.

Dorothy was a very talented artist and she was known for her paintings. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her two daughters, Candice L. Zola and her husband Mark S. of Glenmoore, Pa and Cynthia A. Pratt and her husband Clyde W. of Glassboro, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Marisa Long (Keefe), Amanda Zola, Colby Pratt (Angelina) and Corey Pratt and by two great grandchildren, Madeleine and Francesca Long.

A graveside service will be held privately with the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holisticare Hospice, 685 Kromer Avenue, Berwyn, Pa 19312.

Arrangements are being handled by the James J. Terry Funeral Home, Downingtown, Pa.
