Dolores L. Allwoerden

Dolores L. Allwoerden "Dewey", 87, of West Chester and Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Penn Medicine Hospice in West Chester.  She was the beloved wife of the late Walter H. Allwoerden, who passed away in 2010.

She retired as an administrative assistant from PECO in 1987 after many years of service.

She was the beloved sister of the late Agnes V. Close (Richard), Margaret Gilden (Harry) and Arthur Beswick.

Dolores is survived by her sister-in-law, Margaret Beswick a brother-in-law Stuart Allwoerden; beloved aunt, great aunt and great great aunt to many nieces and nephews; step-mother to Kenneth W. Allwoerden (Dawn) and step grandmother to Amanda and Kelsey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, August 19, 2019 at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd., West Chester, PA where family and friends will be received from 9:30-10:15.

Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham, PA.
