Diane “Dee” Louise (Claudet) Petri, 69, of Elmsford, NY, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at her daughter’s residence in Coatesville, PA, surrounded by her loving family. 

Born in New Rochelle, NY, Diane was the daughter of the late Henri and Constance (Collins) Claudet. She was the wife of John David Petri. The couple shared 46 years of marriage.

Dee, or Mrs. Petri, as she was affectionately called by so many, was a woman of love and laughter.  Her sense of humor was a gift that she shared with many even until the end. 

Her crowning achievement was raising 5 children and 15 grandchildren.  Although she worked throughout her life and spent many years helping her husband run his roofing business, her primary joy in life was to care for her family.  From leading girl scouts, to attending countless sporting events and church activities, Dee brought her bubbly personality, generosity and childlike energy to all she did. 

Mrs. Petri was a member of Calvary Chapel Of Westchester County and taught Sunday school and led Vacation Bible School for many years. She was a woman of profound faith, and in her own words, had “an appointment to meet Jesus.” She now rests in His arms. 

She will be missed terribly and her legacy of giving, caring and spreading laughter and joy will live on in all of our hearts.

Connie Petri Ebrahimi, wife of Reza, and their children Aiden and Arman.

Stefanie Petri Wilson, wife of Steve, and their children Ian, Luke and Maddie.

Nicole Petri and her children Tristan, Jake and Tyler.

John Petri, and his children Alaya, Keir, Kole, Kade and Shyana.

Jessica Petri, wife of Greg Dorlini, and their children Andrew and Matthew.

Her Siblings:  John Claudet (Ann Carol), Susie Antilla (Bobby), Cathy Yates (Ken), Denise Claudet, and Janine Fevola (Timmy)

A Memorial Service will be held at on Saturday, April 10 at 11 AM at Calvary Chapel of Westchester County, 99 Baron De Hirsch Road, Crompond, NY 10517. The phone number of the church is (914) 528-2269.

Lunch will be served following the service with Covid 19 precautions in place
