David Powell Jr.

David Powell Jr, age 64, of Downingtown, PA, passed away due to health complications on Saturday, October 27, 2018.
 
David was born in Wilmington, DE, to the late David Powell Sr. and Pauline Clifton-Powell.
 
David was a proud Veteran who served in the Army from 1975-1979. For several years, David served as a Supervisor for the Laborer’s Union, Local #199.
 
David loved riding his scooter throughout Downingtown. He was a passionate poet, wonderful father and always looked out for his family. His daughter Shakeera was the light of his life.
 
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his sister in law Sheila Powell and family friend Tyra Driver. 
 
He will be sorely missed by his daughter Shakeera Shepeard, Son-in-law Eric Shepeard, brother Steven Powell, sister Sarah Johnson, nephews; Stephan Driver, George Johnson III, Corey Johnson, Vaughn Driver, niece-in-laws Gina Johnson, Sonya Johnson, daughter’s mother Kim Driver, a host of family, friends, and his community of Downingtown PA.
