David J. Flint

David J. Flint, 89, passed away the morning of October 17, 2020 at Woodbridge Place in Phoenixville. Born in Youngstown Ohio in 1931 to the late Frank Flint and Louise nee Halt, David was the loving husband of 67 years to DeLorise J. nee Essany.

David’s greatest love was his wife and family. He was widely known to be a good friend to many, kind to all, with a good sense of humor.

He was a wonderful and caring husband, father, grandpa, and great grandpa. In addition to his wife, DeLorise, David is survived by his children; David J. Flint Jr. (Debbie), Diane L. Shute, and Daniel T. Flint (Jeanette); grandchildren Charlie Shute, Katie Burke, Rebecca Mercedes, Daniel Flint Jr. Michael Flint, Marisa Fahrner, David J. Flint III; great – grandchildren, Finley Fahrner, Sloan Fahrner Michael Burke, Ryan Burke, Isabella Mercedes In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his Brothers Frank and John Flint and his sister Barbara Williams.

A burial service will be held Thursday, October 22, 2020 2:00pm at Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer, PA. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you simply do an act of kindness for others in his name.
