David S. Duckinfield, 55, of Honey Brook, passed away suddenly Thursday, March 22, 2018. He was the husband of Janine M. Duckinfield (nee Reeser).
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Elmer and Phyllis Bowman Duckinfield.
Described by his family as loving and a comical father, he was well known for his treasure hunting, constantly adding to his collection of arrow heads, stones, coins, old glass bottles and other treasures he deemed as valuable.
David was also fond of experimenting in the kitchen with recipes of his own designs.
Most will remember David as a helpful man that would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children; David, Justin and Christine (Thomas Robison) Duckinfield, along with 7 grandchildren that he loved dearly.
Services for David will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 2, 2018 at Grove United Methodist Church, 490 W. Boot Rd., West Chester PA, 19380 where family and friends will be received from 10-10:50 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David’s honor to the Grove United Methodist Church at the above address or to the Chester County Food Bank, 650 Pennsylvania Drive, Exton, PA 19341. Contributions may also be made to David Duckinfield's burial expenses, care of James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave. Downingtown Pa 19335.
