Claire-Jean Tolf

Claire-Jean Tolf, age 87, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester, PA.

Claire-Jean was born in New Jersey, to the late Chester I. and Frances L. (nee Somer) Hering.

For ten years, Claire-Jean resided in the Millview Community of Coatesville. Claire-Jean was a very active woman, and enjoyed golfing and bowling. Before moving to Pennsylvania, Claire-Jean and her late husband Robert F. Tolf belonged to the Mahopac Country Club in NY, and then followed to the Coatesville Country Club. Claire-Jean enjoyed her downtime and enjoyed watching Disney movies. Claire-Jean loved dogs, especially her late bassett hound “Flash” and continued to enjoy her daughter’s golden retriever puppy “Boomer.” She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother will be missed to all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Claire-Jean is preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Tolf.

She is survived and missed by her son, Mark Robert Tolf (wife Trish Harrington), daughter Dana (husband Owen) Brown, two granddaughters; Kelly Brown and Sarah Tolf, and many extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Claire-Jean’s memorial service on Monday evening, July 16, 2018, 6:30PM, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, where friends and family may call from 5:00PM-6:15PM.
