Chuck Reiter Sr.

Chuck Reiter, Sr., 70, of Downingtown, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 16, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Katherine Bennett, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage.

Born in Chester, he was the son of Luella G. Rifenburg Reiter and the late Charles R. Reiter.

Chuck proudly served his Country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed camping, was a model train enthusiast, a history buff, but most of all a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He absolutely adored spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and mother, Chuck is survived by his children, Cheryl L. Gerringer and Nathan C. Reiter, Jr. (Kathleen); 3 step-children, Adam J. DeMarco (Alma), Vincent M. DeMarco (Kristi) and Gina L. DeMarco (David C. Walti); 12 grandchildren, Danielle, Kaleigh, Morgan, Megan, Conner, Anthony, Kennedy, Aliana, London, Lincoln, Chase and Beatrix and by two great grandchildren, Makenzie and Ryan. He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis G. Reiter.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, where family and friends will be received from 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Interment will be held privately with the family.
