Christina Doris Parra, 60, of Washington D.C., formerly of Malvern, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C..

Born in Bogota, Colombia, South America she was the daughter of Marco A. Parra and Nohemy Villada.

In addition to her parents, Christina is survived by her siblings, Martha Parra (Ruben Mejia), Jose Parra and Claudia Parra Roemer; two nephews, Cole and Pierce Roemer and a niece, Blaire Roemer.

Locally, Christina attended the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur. After Christina’s graduation from George Washington University, she established her lifelong career as a financial professional in Washington D.C. In addition to her career, Christina was an avid golfer and traveled to many special destinations with friends and family to enjoy the sport. She also enjoyed scuba diving, horseback riding, and investing time with her beloved niece and nephews, family, and friends. Christina had deep faith and believed in causes that advocated for vulnerable children and animals. All will remember her for her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit.

An evening visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Monday, April 19, 2021 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at St. Joseph Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown.

Interment will be in Oaklands Cemetery in West Chester immediately following the funeral mass. Family and friends will travel in procession to the cemetery.
