Cheryl L. Sauder

Cheryl L. Sauder, 64, of Glenmoore, passed away in the evening of Saturday, November 16, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late William T. Decker, Sr., and Geraldine L. (Kreiner) Decker. Cheryl was the loving wife of Barry Sauder for 36 years and together they raised two sons.

Cheryl had many loves including art, gardening, travel and most importantly her love for her family. She will be remembered for her courageous spirit and selfless devotion to others. Cheryl was an accomplished artist and a member of the Philadelphia Watercolor Society as well as the Flying Colors and Artists Circle art groups.

Cheryl attended Sun Valley High School and was inducted into the Sun Valley Alumni Assoc. Hall of Fame in recognition of her outstanding career in art. She was a graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Fairview Presbyterian Church was very dear to her where she served as a deacon.

In addition to her husband, Barry, Cheryl is survived by her children, Christopher and Sean; siblings Cynthia J. Gill of Garnet Valley, William T. Decker, Jr. of Atglen, and mother Geraldine L. Decker of Media.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 20 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James J. Terry Funeral Home Downingtown Location, 736 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Fairview Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 800 Fairview Rd, Glenmoore, PA 19343 with a visitation prior from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM.
