Charles P.” Bud” Dunwoody, 86, of Exton, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Paoli Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Dalton Dunwoody, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage at the time of her passing.
Born in Malvern, Charles was the son of the late George A. and Magdalen Fasick Dunwoody.
He was a 1950 graduate of Tredyffrin Easttown.
Before his retirement in 2002, Bud was an Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Schramm, Inc.
He enjoyed traveling, golfing, and boating in Long Beach Island, NJ and Chesapeake City, MD. But his pride and joy was his grandchildren.
Bud is survived by 3 daughters; Barbara Cramer (Kevin), Beth Nelson (Pat), and “Mickey” Durofchalk (David), sister Dorothy Cappelli, companion Barbara Von Hummel, and 7 grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, James Dunwoody.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018, 10:30 AM, at S.s. Philip and James Church, 107 N Ship Rd, Exton, PA 19341, where family and friends will be received from 9:30-10:30 AM.
Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery,West Chester.
