Charles Oscar Lewis

Charles Oscar Lewis, 82, of Downingtown, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his residence.

Born in West Chester, Charles was the son of the late Charles and Betty (Clark) Lewis.

Charles was a member of Thorndale Fire Company and Downingtown Moose Lodge 1153. He enjoyed drag racing.

Charles is survived by his son: Edward Lewis of Downingtown, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Mamertus Kinzinger.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 24 at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, May 23 from 5-7, and on Monday, May 24 from 9:30-10:15. Interment will follow at Northwood Cemetery. It is kindly requested that all guests wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
