Charles F. “Chuck“ Hanss, 51, of Chester Springs, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his loving wife, Donna, and their family and friends.

Born in Rochester, NY, he was the son of Beverly Hanss and the late Robert Hanss.

Chuck was quite the craftsman, designing and making furniture out of his business, Paper Mill Furniture.  

In his spare time Chuck enjoyed the outdoors and music.

In addition to his wife, Donna Derham and mother Beverly Hanss, Chuck is survived by his children, Celia Hanss, Ian Hanss, Patrick Derham, and  Maddie Derham; and siblings, Mary Ann Sliwa, Susan Holcomb and Bob Hanss.

A memorial service for Chuck will be held on Saturday, July 8th at 1:30 PM at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, where friends may visit from 12 noon to 1:15 pm.

Interment will be private.
