Carolyn M Caporellie, 82 years old passed away on March 4th, 2021 at the Jefferson Hospice in Warminster PA.  Carol was the widow of Edward G Caporellie Sr with whom she shared 38 years of marriage before his death in 1994.

Carol was born on March 7th, 1938 in Philadelphia PA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Marie Sacco and attended West Catholic High school, graduating in 1956.  Carol only worked for a short time during high school at Horn and Hardart’s where she met the love of her life Ed after he pursued her endlessly.  Carol and Ed had three children, Carol Ann, Eddie Jr., and Andrew.  Carol was very active throughout her life, volunteering at St Francis of Assisi Parish in Springfield, Delaware County where she and Ed raised their children.  Carol had many other jobs raising her children and being a homemaker that she would list frequently for her husband and children to show them all that she did during the day.  Carol was known for her sense of humor and unpredictability.  She enjoyed travelling with her husband and after he passed with her dear sister, Nancy.  Together she and Nancy saw the world, travelling as far as Russia, Alaska, Central America and the Panama Canal, the Netherlands and Greece as well as many trips to Europe and various cruises.  Carol was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, always cheering on the Eagles or Phillies and getting angry after their losses.  Most of all Carol enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports and be their number one fan on the field or in the stands.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Carol Ann Caporelli of Downingtown, her son, Ed Jr and his wife Missy of Downingtown, and her son, Andrew of Collingdale.  Carol is also survived by her six treasured grandchildren; Gina and Michelle Albertson, Eddie Caporellie III, Alyssa Caporellie, Mia Caporellie, and Nick Caporellie.  Carol was predeceased by her sister Nancy McCullough only 12 days prior to her death.

Along with her sister, Nancy's, relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 11 AM at St. Joseph Church 308 Manor Ave Downingtown, PA, where friends may call from 9:45 to 10:45 am.  Interment will be held privately.
