Carol Ann King

Carol Ann Sirgenson King, 64, of East Fallowfield Township, passed away, Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Paoli Hospital. She met her husband, Robert W. King, in 1983 and then they were married in October of 1993. They have been a loving couple for 35 years.

Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of Dolores Batzel Sirgenson and the late Robert F. Sirgenson.

Carol graduated from Phoenixville High School in 1972 and then went onto Pottstown Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1975. Carol pursued a life-long career in nursing. She worked for Paoli Memorial Hospital, St. Vincent’s Hospital in Leadville Colorado, Devereux and Brian’s House. Her latest job was with On the Go Kids, where she cared for the children as they traveled to and from school.

Carol was an avid reader, and enjoyed all books. She loved arts and crafts and enjoyed making porcelain dolls, taking pictures, cooking and traveling to the Outer Banks.

In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her children, Robert King, Jr. and Melissa Civitella (Joe), her brothers, Robert Sirgenson, Jr. (Shivaun), Paul Sirgenson and Thomas Sirgenson (June); grandchildren, Brandon King and Vincent Civitella and by a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 24, 2018 at Philadelphia Memorial Park, 124 Phoenixville Pike, Frazer.  Please arrive at the cemetery prior to 11 a.m. and we will meet at the entrance and then proceed to the gravesite in procession.
