Bruce Howard Smoyer

Bruce Smoyer, 67, passed away on August 24, 2020 at Brandywine Hospital from Covid-19.  He was the husband of Patrice Righi Smoyer, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage.

Born in Levittown PA, he was the son of Howard and Kathryn Smoyer.  He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and began his college journey at Bucks Community College finishing at West Chester University with a bachelor’s degree in business.  He was employed at Jeff D’Ambrosio Auto Group and worked as a Sales Specialist for 35 years.

He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church for over 30 years where he had served many roles.  He enjoyed cheering on the Eagles, Phillies,Wings and going to classic car shows.  He loved passing on his passion for sports to his daughter.  What he loved most in life was spending time with his family, friends and coworkers.  He will be remembered for always having a smile on his face, his ability to genuinely care for anyone that he met and make them an instant friend.

He is survived by his wife Patrice, his daughter Rachel (wife of Nicholas Snyder), his brother Tim (husband of Carol), as well as numerous other beloved family members. The funeral service will be held outdoors on Thursday September 3, 2020 at 11am at James J Terry Funeral Home, 736 E Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335 with visitation from 9am to 10:30am indoors at the funeral home.
