Blanche Flinn Foreman

Blanche Flinn Foreman (90 years old) passed on April 20, 2022 after several years of being ill. Blanche was born on August 8, 1931 in Downingtown, PA. Her parents are the late Harry D. and Catherine S. Flinn. Blanche has lived in Summerfield, FL since 1998 when she and her husband retired. Blanche graduated from the Downingtown Jr/Sr High in 1949. She lived in Downingtown for her entire life and working career. Blanche was employed by the Downingtown Area School District at Brandywine-Wallace Elementary School. She was retired from the School District.

Blanche is survived by her husband of 70 years, Harry B. Foreman. Also surviving Blanche are her daughters Deborah A. Eberhardt (Stephen) of Howey in the Hills, FL and Heidi L. Smith of Reading, PA. Along with 2 grandchildren April L. Lindberg of Ronninge, Sweden and Douglas G. Smith (Aurora) of Glenmoore, PA. Blanche has 3 great-grandchildren Oliver G. Lindberg of Ronninge, Sweden and Phoenix G. and Ophelia G. Smith of Glenmoore, PA. Also surviving is her youngest sister Barbara Flinn-Daniels of WI. Blanche was predeceased by her 2 sisters Jean Byerly and Margaret Garrett and her brother Harry D. Flinn, Jr.

Blanche enjoyed spending time with her family, travelling (40 cruises!), playing cards with friends and family. She loved doing crafts at home and giving them as gifts.

In her final days she was cared for by Hospice in her Summerfield, FL home and by her loving husband, Harry. Harry was by her side until the very end.

She will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of her family.
