Betty Jane Storms

Betty Jane "BJ" Storms, 70, of Bowmansville, formerly of West Chester, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022.

Born in West Chester, Betty Jane was the daughter of the late Julian R. and Betty E. (Martin) Storms.

Betty Jane enjoyed reading, watching old TV shows, going out to eat, and wearing her shiny jewelry. She also enjoyed reading Bible stories and going to church with her family at St. Paul’s UCC, Bowmansville. She was very well known for her smiles and her hugs.

Betty Jane is survived by her brother: Charles C. Storms, husband of Christine, of Bowmansville, Curt M. Storms of Acworth, GA, Sandra Eckler of Downingtown, Gail Steckel of North Port, FL, Judy Stine of Holtwood, Solange Storms of Virginia Beach, VA, and Jennifer Tobias of Lebanon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

A Visitation for Betty Jane will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 9:45-10:45 AM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery, Downingtown.
