Betty Jane McCardell

Betty Jane (Good) McCardell, 82, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.

Born in West Chester, Betty was the daughter of the late John and Ethel (March) Good. She was the beloved wife of Lee McCardell. The couple shared 62 years of marriage. Betty  owned and operated a Century 21 Real Estate office in Lionville with her husband, Lee. Betty also served as the President of the Chester County Board of Realtors  and Chairman  of the Chester County Property Tax Assessment Board. Betty was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Chester Springs. She enjoyed dogs, horses, gardening, and cooking.

In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by a daughter, Susan Miller, wife of Kit, a sister, Joanne Willenbrock, and 2 grandchildren, Nicholas Miller and Sarah Miller. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, John Good.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 2, at 1 PM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Chester Springs. It is kindly requested that all guests in attendance wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
