Betty Ann Bradford

Betty Ann (Bartz) Bradford, 89, of Downingtown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at her residence.

Born in Great Neck, NY, Betty was the daughter of the late Carl William and Ann Marie (Sullivan) Bartz. She was the wife of the late Wallace “Wally” Bradford, who passed away in June 2021.

Betty was a member of Uwchlan Meetinghouse, AAUW, Red Hat Club, and a gardening club. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels for over 20 years.

Betty is survived by her children: James Bradford (Ellen), of Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Jane Rourke (Breen) of Wynnewood; her daughter-in-law Karen Bradford of New Market, MD; grandchildren: Melissa Landrum (Brett), Jaime Sotomayor (Justo), Max Shein (Brittany Lambert), and Kendall Shein; great-grandchildren: Michael and Sienna Landrum and Sophia, Justin, and Selena Sotomayor.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her son: John Bradford, and brother: Robert Bartz.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Uwchlan Meetinghouse, 3 N Village Ave, Exton, PA 19341, on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
