Benjamin D. Mento

Benjamin D. Mento, 72, of Coatesville, passed away suddenly on Tuesday March 3, 2020 at the Brandywine Hospital. He was the loving husband of Karen (Hilyard) Mento with whom he shared 29 years of marriage.

Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Frank and Loretta Sieders Mento.

Ben was a 1966 graduate of Downingtown High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Alcoa where he worked for over 45 years.

In addition to his wife, Ben is survived by his siblings Robert Mento, Barbara Mattione and Gerry Mento. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ben will be laid to rest with Military Honors on Friday, November 27th at 2:30 pm in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, Lebanon County.
