Barry Elwood Atkinson

Barry Elwood Atkinson, 81, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at his residence.

Born in Philadelphia, Barry was the son of the late Donald W. and Esther (Gebhart) Atkinson.

Barry was of the Catholic faith. A graduate of Penn State University who also served in the U. S. Air Force Reserve.  He was employed as a graphic artist at TV Guide, Rohm & Haas, Inc. and later as the Creative Director for 25 years at Mueller & Wister Studio in Philadelphia.  Barry enjoyed activities with his children and found great pleasure in fishing, painting, art, photography, poetry, and writing, as well as having a love of animals.

Barry is survived by a brother, Guy M., his four children Scott, Todd, Tracy and Michael, as well as 8 grandchildren.

His family members will hold a private service.
