Anthony Rosso

Anthony Rosso passed away peacefully the morning of Thursday, September 20, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born on June 20th, 1949 in Staten Island, NY, he was the son of Albino and Adrienne Rosso (nee Destafinis). Anthony was also the loving husband of Kathleen Rosso (née Hammond).  

Anthony was an avid fisherman and loved to go camping. He loved his cats, and was always willing to make room for a new one.

He graduated from Augustinian Academy in Staten Island in 1967, and continued to Pace University where he graduated in 1971.

Anthony spent 30 years working for the New York State Office of Mental Health and after he and his wife retired, moved with his family to Pennsylvania in 2012.

In addition to Kathleen, Anthony is survived by his son, Joseph Rosso of West Brandywine, PA; step sons Robert Zielinski (Diana) of Penfield, NY, and Michael Zielinski of West Brandywine, PA; sister Adrienne Rosso of Rochester, NY; and grandchildren Alainna and Christopher Zielinski.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, September 29 at 10:30am at Saint Peter Church 2835 Manor Rd. West Brandywine, PA 19320. A visitation will be held Saturday morning from 9:30am – 10:20am.
