Having just heard of Dr. Ricci's passing, it is with a heavy heart that I send my deepest condolences to the Kilkeary and Ricci families.
I last heard from A.J. about a month ago. He said rather proudly, "Can you believe it, I survived a heart attack six months ago and I'm 99"! I was obviously shocked, but I assured him he would reach 100 and beyond. He almost made it.
A. J. was very instrumental in shaping my life. When I was a young woman, I became gravely ill and almost died. He told me to focus my energy on surviving and to think positively about what I wanted to accomplish in the future with my life. If I did this, he told me I would be OK and I was. He has been a great adviser and friend.
It is with great respect, admiration and love that I say goodbye to a dear friend. May you rest in peace A.J. ........until we meet again.
