Andy J. Laird, 91, died on July 2, 2021, at Simpson Meadows. He was the husband Barbara M. Laird with whom he shared just shy of 68 years of marriage.

Soon after graduating from Fordham High School, Andy was employed at Cadillac, a division of General Motors, but soon joined the Air Force during the Korean War. Andy exited the military as Staff Sergeant and continued his dedication as a member of the American Legion Post 475 of Downingtown, PA where he and Barbara celebrated numerous national holidays with fellow veterans. He enjoyed history, especially that of the Civil War where his grandfather served and WWII as he experienced as a boy. In addition, he was a talented wood worker making most the furniture that resides in the home today. Andy was also an avid traveler and he and Barbara traveled all over the world in car, camper, trailer and boat.
