Alfreda P. "Fritz" DiOttavio

Alfreda P.” Fritz” DiOttavio, 91, of Downingtown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Brandywine Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank A."Moppy" DiOttavio, Sr., with whom she shared 46 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2009.

Born in Coatesville, Alfreda was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria Perenska Pacana.

She was employed by Lukens Steel for 45 years.

Fritz was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Downingtown where she volunteered and worked for the parish office for 15 years. She was also active in their Senior Circle and Prime Timers.

She was a proud member of the Polish American Club Ladies Auxiliary of Coatesville for many years.

Mrs. DiOttavio is survived by her children, Frank (Andrea) DiOttavio, Jr. and Louise (Dan) McDonald; grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew, and Thomas DiOttavio, Tori (Dan) Kline, Brittany and Christian Sheridan, Craig and Brad McDonald; great grandchildren, Isabelle Kline and her soon to be born sister; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

An evening visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Monday, March 26th at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, Downingtown.

A morning visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:45am on Tuesday, March 27th at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown, where her Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 am.

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Downingtown.
