Alexis C. Thorburn

Alexis Catherine Thorburn, 29, of Downingtown, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. 

Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of Catherine Sadleir Thorburn of Downingtown and Peter Thorburn (Darla) of Brigantine, New Jersey. 

Alexis was a 2011 graduate of Downingtown East High School and went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree from Shippensburg University. She spent the next 5 years living in Chambersburg, PA where she worked for Ulta Beauty in distribution as a Product Handler. 

Alexis enjoyed watching all the BRAVO TV shows. She would go see every High School Musical and Twilight movie the second it was released to the movie theater with her sister Jessica. Ali loved her heated blankets, following WARP Tour, and all animals, especially her kitties. She is going to be missed tremendously.  

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister Jessica (Mike), brothers David and Nick (Morgan), and her step-sisters Morgan and Rachel Curtis.  She also has many nieces and nephews.  

Alexis’ family will receive relatives and friends from 10 to 10:50 am on Friday, August 5th at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, where a Liturgy Service will be held at 11 am.

Interment will be held privately for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the ASPCA.
