Helen Regina Winkler

Helen Regina Winkler, 91, of Downingtown, formerly of Drexel Hill, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Chester County Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Walter A. Winkler, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 1977.

Born on July 19, 1920 in Norristown, Helen was the daughter of the late William and Catherine Fleming Sack.

Mrs. Winkler is survived by her three children, Walter A. Winkler, Jr. and his wife, Natalie, of Downingtown, Thomas A. Winkler and his wife, Mary Louise, of Downingtown and Donna Lynne Carosella and her husband, Patrick, of Delaware; twelve grandchildren, Jennifer Jaramillo and her husband, David, Aimy Winkler, Julie Haragos and her husband, Joseph, Matthew Winkler and his wife, Roseanne, Nicholas Winkler and his wife, Melinda, Leahanne Winkler, Thomas Winkler, Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, Michael Winkler and his wife, Mary Kate, Michael Leager and his wife, Laura, Eric Carosella, Christopher Carosella, and Daniel Carosella; and fifteen great grandchildren, Thomas, Alexander, Jake, Ashleigh, Douglas, Madilyn, Mackenzie, Marissa, Reagan Kate, Kieran, Kamrin, Kaden, Eric, Gianna, and Anthony.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by her sisters, Dolores K. Loveland and Celestine R. Lynch.

A visitation will be held from 9 - 10:30 am on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken.
