Robert J. Uggla, age 67, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, February 4, 2018. Robert was born in Niskayuna, NY, and was the son of the late Arnold and Jane Uggla. 

Professionally, Bob worked as a consultant for Jacobs Engineering.  Personally, he loved spending time with his family and cherished his role as grandfather.  Though his home was in West Chester, Bob was most content in his cabin in Schroon Lake, NY, in the Adirondacks, where he summered as a child, met his wife, and enjoyed fishing, boating, and every water sport you can think of (and some he may have invented himself as an adventurous teen!)  Bob enjoyed golfing and loved being out on the golf course.  His friends and family will miss his quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor which lives on in his children and grandchildren.

Bob is survived and dearly missed by his wife of 45 years, Nancy (Baumann) Uggla, son Kristian (Johanna) Uggla and daughter Arwen (Jeffrey) Mehle, brother John Uggla, 6 grandchildren, Alexis, DeeDee, Alyssa, Samantha, Spencer and Jamison, and 1 great grandson Cameron.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Bob’s life on Friday, February 9, 2018, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, visitation will be from 11AM-12PM, followed by a time of sharing and service. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers a donation in Bob’s name can be made to the Magee Rehab Hospital, 1513 Race St. Philadelphia, PA 19102.
