Richard William Landvatter, age 86, of Downingtown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. Richard was born in Elizabeth, NJ to the late William and Christine Landvatter.
Richard was a proud veteran who was honored with several medals, and served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. For 23 years, Richard worked for General Electric as a manager, and retired in 1979.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents.
Richard leaves behind many cherished memories, and is survived and missed by his cousins Gloria (Johnson) Bowie and Thomas (Debra) Apostol, and many extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Richards funeral mass on Thursday, February 8, 2018, 10AM, at the Saint Elizabeth Church, 110 Saint Elizabeth Dr, Chester Springs, PA 19425, visitation hours are from 8:45AM-9:45AM. Interment will be private.
