Nicholas Joseph Gregor, 83, of Coatesville, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Chester County Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Jane E. Kurenda Gregor, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Coatesville, Nick was the son of the late John P. and Hedwiga Drobny Gregor and a graduate of S. Horace Scott High School.
He had a 40 year career with the Lukens Steel Mill.
Nick was a lifetime member of the Polish American Citizens Club (P.A.C.C.) on Strode Avenue in Coatesville.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman, as well as a devoted sports fan; especially of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Gregor is survived by his three sons, Nicholas S. Gregor (Denise) of Honey Brook; Jeffrey D. Gregor (Jeanmarie) of Coatesville; and Timothy J. Gregor, Sr. (Michele) of Coatesville; five grandchildren, Erica, Timothy, Jr., Nicole, Brittany and Lexie; and seven great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Nick was predeceased by a grandson, Chad Gregor.
Nick’s family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 W. 2nd Avenue, Parkesburg, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am.
Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Coatesville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nick’s memory can be made to the American Heart Association.
