Mary (Thomas) Pannebaker, 87, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester, PA. Mary was born and raised in Downingtown to the late Gordon and Dorothy (Heisey) Thomas. From 1975-1992, Mary worked for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines as a receptionist and telephone operator. For 20 years, Mary belonged to the Friends of Chester County Library, and was a member of the Hope Fellowship Church in Coatesville, PA. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband Norman “Thomas” Pannebaker, and brother Gordon Thomas. Mary is survived and missed by her daughter Susan Pannebaker, sister-in-law Audrey Thomas, 7 nephews and nieces, and many extended family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Mary’s funeral service on Friday, October 20, 2017, at 11AM, at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, where friends may call from 10-11AM. Burial will follow at Northwood Cemetery, Downingtown, PA.
