Marion Jean Fry, 81, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Paoli Hospital.
Born and raised in Downingtown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Regina and Alfred Jones.
Marion attended Downingtown High School where she met her husband Francis H. Fry, Jr. with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.
She was a homemaker who loved the many, many gatherings with family and friends. She enjoyed various trips with her children to Atlantic City, Gettysburg, Longwood Gardens and Disney World. She was an avid card player, camper, reader and even participated in book club with her daughters. She loved the mountains and Potter County. Above all, Marion loved a good cup of coffee!
She is survived by her nine children, Regina (Philip) Tinari, Francis (Linda) III, Corinne Charter, James (Nilda), Judith (Henry) Miller, Constance (David) Ramsey, Deborah (George) Donnon, Lori (Scott) Thornton, and Michael (Denise) Fry. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Marion Fry was preceded in death by all of her siblings, her husband, Francis H. Fry, Jr., granddaughter, Danielle H. Baker; and great-grandson, Noah D. Treer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 23, from 6-8PM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335.
Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, August 24, at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, 786 Oak St., Coatesville, PA 19320
