LAMBE, Margaret (Southworth), age 80, formerly of Glen Allen, Va., passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at the Sunrise Assisted Living in Exton, Pa. Margaret was born and raised in Ruther Glen, Va., to the late John Pitts and Margaret (Young) Pitts. For 35 years, Margaret worked for the State of Virginia Department of Corrections as an Administrative Assistant. Later, she cared for special needs children for Henrico County busing department. In her spare time, Margaret was an avid walker and a voracious reader. After her retirement, Margaret enjoyed going out to lunch with her friends and spending time with her family and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lambe Sr.; daughter, Michelle Fitzwater; and sister, Juanita Tinsley (Bernie). Margaret is survived and missed by her son, James Gray Lambe Jr. (Tracey) of Chester Springs, Pa.; three grandchildren, Jordan Elisabeth Lambe, James Gray Lambe III and Matthew Gray Fitzwater; one great-grandchild, and many other loving extended family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Margaret's memorial service on Monday, October 9, 2017, 1 p.m., at the Bliley's Funeral Home at 8510 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, Va. Interment will remain private. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Margaret's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
