Lisa A. Forbes, 59, of Exton, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Paoli Hospital after a 5 year battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Stephen T. Forbes, with whom she shared almost 19 years of marriage.

Born in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late James C. and June B. Sumner Wyche.

Lisa was currently working as a legal assistant for Giannascoli & Kent, PC in Exton. She enjoyed arranging flowers, gardening and was an animal lover, especially cats. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She displayed her true strength and courage during her battle with cancer.

In addition to her husband, Lisa is survived by her children, Brittany M. Gaspari (Andrew), Alexa H. Forbes and Donna N. Forbes; her sisters, Joan M. Wyche-Rudenski and Laurie B. Wyche-Abele (Bruce); and her grandson, Connor M. Burkland. She is also survived by her nieces, Meghan J. Sutherland and Kaitlyn N. Rudenski and a nephew Cameron J. Abele. She was predeceased by a sister, Donna J. Stein and a nephew, Jameson S. Wyche.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown. Family and friends will be received from 5-6:45 p.m.
