John P. Domsohn, 65, of Downingtown, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at his home. He was the loving companion of Patricia F. Latham, with whom he shared 40 years together.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Paul J., Sr. and Marguerite Anderson Domsohn.

After graduating from Coatesville High School in 1970, he was employed by Lukens Steel briefly and then went to work at Pepperidge Farms, retiring in 2007 after 35 years of service.

John was an avid sportsman, loved listening to music and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed being in his home and absolutely adored his family.

In addition to his life-long companion, John is survived by his siblings, Joseph P., Sr. (Helen), Joan L. Baron, Paul J., Jr. (Natalie), Marguerite S. Przychodzien (Ronald), Kathleen M. Profeto, Robert C. (Regina), Theresa D. Zydinsky and Stephen G. (Cynthia); a brother in law, Frank D. Barry; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by a sister, Carol A. Barry and a brother, Donald R. Domsohn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, where family and friends may call from 9:00 – 10:45 a.m.

Interment will be in Northwood Cemetery, Downingtown.
