George C. Binaut, 69, of Downingtown, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester. He was the loving husband of Betty J. (nee Gallagher ) Binaut, with whom he shared 29 loving years of marriage.

Born in Ebensburg, he was the son of the late Paul and Mildred (nee Hale) Binaut.
George proudly served as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He went on to begin his career with Pepperidge Farm where he worked as a truck driver for 17 years before retiring in 2011.

In his spare time, George enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, summers at the beach , attending Super Chevy with his son and grandsons every year and spending quality time with his family. George was a strong man that battled his health issues with dignity and strength. He truly was Superman!

In addition to his wife, George is survived by his children, Mindy Italiano (Paul) and Craig Bucci (Lori); brother, Chris Binaut; sister, Donna Mason; and grandchildren, Alexander, Nicholas and Grace.
