Frank L. Tyas, 91, of St. Peters, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, July 24, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Catherine Giovinazzo Tyas, with whom he shared 70 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Samuel and Rose Iles Tyas. He was predeceased by his three siblings: Samuel, Nellie and Gordon.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his daughter, Linda “Lynn” O’Leary; five grandchildren, Kenneth Skarka, Kara Skarka, Laurel Archer, Jocelynn Lathrop and Skye O’Leary; and by six great grandchildren, Brandon, Keira, Sierra, Bryce, Landon and Ryder. He was predeceased by a grandson, Keith Skarka.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 28, 2017 at St Elizabeth Church, 120 St. Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs, where family and friends will be received from 8:45-9:45 a.m.

Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan B. Komen cancer research.
