ELEANOR ANN ("MIG") BRYANT, 92, AUGUST 13, 1925 - AUGUST 16, 2017
of West Brandywine, Pa., formerly of Radnor and Stone Harbor, New Jersey, was
the first woman to be accepted to the Law School at Catholic University in Washington,
D.C. As a longstanding member of Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, she
helped to organize the 1962 PGA Championship Tournament at the club. She
attended Wyoming Seminary in Kingston, Pa. and was graduated from College
Misericordia in Dallas, Pa. She was an excellent golfer and sportswoman, a
charismatic teacher, a kind and beloved wife, mother and sister and a lousy cook.
The wife of John ("Jack") G. Bryant for 57 years until his death in 2004,
she is survived by two of her three children, Patricia Bryant Bowers (James) of
Haverford & Palm Beach, Andrew F. Bryant (Andrea) of Laguna Niguel, Ca. and
Rosarito, Mexico and four (4) grandchildren: Elizabeth J. Bryant of Jacksonville,
Florida, Christina D. Bryant (Paul) of Long Island City, John Bryant Rode at Dartmouth
School of Medicine and Alexandra Bryant at the University of California, Berkeley.
Her oldest son, James K. Bryant, preceded her in death in 2009 at the age of 61.
