Bridget S. Michener, 37, of Chester Springs, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at her home. She was surrounded by loved ones as she passed into glory.
Born in Media, Bridget was the daughter of Robert E. and Lucille E. (Lesky) Glenn of West Bradford.
Bridget worked at several places in her twenties, and one of her favorite jobs was a Cake Decorator at Bakers of Buffington in Downingtown. She later received her Masters of Art Education from Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia. She spent five years teaching art at Mt. Hope/Nanjemoy Elementary School in Maryland before being called into her highest position as wife and mother. She was a sweet, kind person who loved everyone she met. Her smile and laugh brightened any situation. She loved art, music, her family, and Jesus. Optimistic to the end, she always saw the best in people and enjoyed encouraging her loved ones.
Bridget is survived by her husband Nicholas E. Michener, three children Arie, Scarlett and Josiah, mother and father, mother-in-law Jill Welsh, father-in-law Norman Edmund Michener, her siblings Meg (Shawn) Carafa, Robert Glenn, Colleen Glenn, Sean Glenn, sister-in-law Melissa Michener, and 7 nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by one niece.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 9 to 10:30 am on Saturday, July 15th at Calvary Chapel Chester Springs, 217 Dowlin Forge Road, Exton, where her service will be held at 11am.
Interment will be held privately.
