Erma L. Markiewicz

Erma L. Markiewicz, 74, wife of the deceased Thomas Lenick, passed away suddenly on Sunday Dec. 18th at her home in Downingtown. 
She was the youngest daughter of Ralph and Lottie Myers of Dorrance, PA and worked for 35 years at Container Corporation in Oaks.
She fought both breast and lung cancer since 1997 and her family is grateful for the wonderful care she received at Phoenixville Hospital.  Her wish is that her remains be used in the fight against cancer and to help others in need. 

She is survived by her sisters, Jeanette Yost and Bernice Mackert, her sons Mike and Buck Markiewicz, her daughters-in-law, Becky and Rhonda and her grandson, Chris. 

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Phila., PA 19103, Phoenixville Hospital, 140 Nutt Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460, or East Brandywine Park Association where she often enjoyed walking the trails.
