Roman Korsunsky, 47, of Downingtown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital after a six month illness.

He was the beloved husband of Leslie Korsunsky, with whom he shared 16 years of marriage, and the adored father of two children, Sara and Rebecca.

Born in Odessa, Ukraine, Roman was the son of Iosif and Zhanna Korsunsky of Harrisburg, PA.

Roman was a graduate of Lehigh University and received a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at Binghamton University.  He was a dedicated, valued employee of Texas Instruments for 16 years.  His hobbies included spending time with his family, supporting his daughters in their various endeavors, cooking, playing racquetball and biking.  He held a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.  He enjoyed traveling and watching movies.

In addition to his wife, children and parents, Roman is also survived by his sister, Masha Fisch, brother-in-law David Fisch, and niece Maia Fisch, of Palo Alto, CA, uncle Igor Rafalovich and his wife Tanya of Furlong, PA, cousins Angela Vidomskaya and Rod Vidomsky of Portland, OR, Regina and Vladimir Bittman of Israel, and Seraphim Rafalovich of Furlong, PA, parents-in-law Robert and Carol Warner of Binghamton, NY, sister-in-law Robin Kimmel, husband Jamie and children Jared, Lindsay and Hannah of Harpursville, NY, and sister-in-law Marnie Burdick, husband Tim and children Jedd, Emily and Kurt of Maine, NY.

Calling hours will be held from 12-2pm and a memorial service will be held at 2pm at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, PA on Tuesday, December 13, 2011.

Interment will be private.
