Virginia M. Klein

Virginia M. Klein, 88, of Downingtown, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 surrounded by her family.  She was the loving wife of the late George A. Klein, with whom she had shared 41 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 1986.

Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mildred Bohlert.

Ginny was first employed at Woolworth’s in New York City before starting her family and moving to Long Island.  She moved to Pennsylvania in 1963.

Her biggest joy in life was as a devoted homemaker for her family.  She was also a talented seamstress and crafter, an avid reader and an excellent cook.

She was a long time member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lionville, where she participated in many groups and activities.

Mrs. Klein is survived by her children, Russell Klein and his wife, Ruth Keller Klein of Downingtown, Roy Klein and his wife, Patricia Bunda Klein of Downingtown; and by 3 grandchildren, Kelly Klein, Amy Klein Beaudoin, and Koury Klein; and 3 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 104 S. Village Ave in Lionville.  Interment will be private.
